ANDROID 10 review :

Android 10 review :

Android 10 brings a lot of changes to the Android ecosystem. The re-branding ends the era of dessert names and Google has officially gone all-in on gesture controls. However, despite these new directions, Android remains the same OS we all know and love.

Google’s big themes for Android 10 were gesture controls, additional security, and enhancing existing features. The update as a whole feels a lot like a continuation of Android Pie. However, there is still a marked difference between Android Pie and Android 10, compared to Android Marshmallow and Android Oreo.

Lets talk about the pros and cons of this update,

Pros:

Dark mode looks great
5G and foldable support are crucial
Project Mainline speeds up crucial updates
More obvious privacy controls are helpful
Better for managing notifications

Cons:

It’ll probably be a while before you get it .
Some gestures need more polish
Project Mainline isn’t enabled for everyone .

Android 10 isn’t perfect, but it builds on a strong foundation with helpful features like a dark mode, mostly improved gesture navigation, more nuanced notification controls and better privacy tools. It won’t completely reshape the way you use Android, but by re-engineering some key software updates and adding support for foldable devices and 5G, this transitional update is all about paving the way for tomorrow.
